In order to paint a holistic and objective picture of the structure of the Swiss economy and its innovative power, the Institute have used the basic entity of innovation – the patent, as a benchmark for companies to qualify for the study. With 808 registered patents, X-Technology Swiss R&D has been a leader in this category for more than 20 years. During the analysis period of three years, 01.01.2017 – 31.12.2019, the institute studies the innovation of Swiss businesses have elected X-Technology Swiss R&D as the BEST IN CLASS and as winner of the leading innovator award.
This once again underlines the continuous innovative spirit, with which X-Bionic®, X-Socks® and Apani® have revolutionized the sportswear industry for more than 20 years. This innovation study evaluated a wide range of key players in the swiss sports apparel industry including Odlo, On – Running, ASSOS, Mammut, Salewa, Völkl, Kjus, Mountain Force and Scott Sports. The brand with the “X” from Wollerau, took home another award, making another statement in the market as the most trusted and innovative Swiss Sports Brand in the world.
